More kids die from NRA's war on background checks. Another grieving father condemns useless politicians.

“Our son Christopher Martinez and six others are dead. Chris was a really great kid. Ask anyone who knew him. His death has left our family lost and broken. Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians, and the NRA. They talk about gun rights. What about Chris’ right to live? When will this insanity stop? When will enough people say STOP THIS MADNESS. We don’t have to live like this. Too many have died. We should say to ourselves NOT ONE MORE! “

Bad year for Democrats? Think again.

I'm guessing that by November, more than a few voters will be pissed at the folks who:

a) Nixed their jobless benefits,

b) Killed their minimum wage hike,

c) Froze them out of medicaid coverage,

d) Tried fifty different times to take away their healthcare,

d) Shut down their polling places, their women's health clinics--not to mention their federal government, and then

e) Insisted that crazy people should be able to buy guns with no mandatory background checks.

Can you guess which party I'm talking about?

Hey, maybe Trey Gowdy will be tres successful in convincing a majority of voters to put "Benghazi Talking Points" at the top of America's 2014 voting agenda.

But I doubt it.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE TRAILER TRASH WHEN . . .

As submitted to CarTalk.com by Jack Chamberlin:

You let your 12-year-old daughter smoke at the dinner table, in front of her kids.

You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws.

You think a woman who is "out of your league" bowls on a different night.

You wonder how gas stations keep their restrooms so clean.

Anyone in your family ever died right after saying, "Hey guys, watch this."

You're pretty sure Dom Perignon is a Mafia leader.

Your wife's hairdo was once ruined by a ceiling fan.

You think the last words of the Star-Spangled Banner are "Gentlemen, start your engines."

You believe loading the dishwasher means getting your wife drunk.

GOP War on Cops & Teachers Is A Huge Drag On Economic Growth

GOP GOVERNORS & LEGISLATURES HAVE SLASHED 600,000 PUBLIC SECTOR JOBS SINCE PRESIDENT OBAMA TOOK OFFICE.

IF THOSE COPS & TEACHERS WERE STILL WORKING, OUR ECONOMY WOULD BE EVEN STRONGER AND OUR JOBLESS RATE LOWER.

Strong Numbers. Weak Response.
